WASC/ACTS Accreditation

ACCREDITATION

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The Western region covers institutions in California and Hawaii, the territories of Guam, American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau, Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands, the Pacific Basin, and East Asia, and areas of the Pacific and East Asia where American/ International schools or colleges may apply to it for service. Calvary Chapel High School has been WASC accredited since 2003, and the current term runs through 2029.

The Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) is an accreditation program that established high, uniform standards for Christian Schools. Through their accreditation process, a school must represent a standard of excellence that is recognized by other institutions and the constituency of the community in which the school is located. Calvary Chapel High School has been ACTS accredited since 2006 and the current term runs through 2029.

The six-year clear term is rarely granted to schools, either public or private; it is only designated for those schools that have a high degree of impact on student learning. By receiving a six-year clear term, we have received strong affirmation that our school is successfully preparing students for their future. Based on our WASC/ACTS accreditation, every college in the nation recognizes the courses that our students complete in high school.

Our vision is for our students to graduate from CCHS having developed a strong relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and having received a quality education in preparation for their future. We work as unto the Lord for the fulfillment of this vision for each of our students
