Greetings and blessings! As a student at Calvary Chapel High School you will start out on our four-year college track. Although high school graduation requirements and college admission requirements may sound similar, there are some distinct differences. As the vice principal of guidance, my goal is to help you achieve your goals and to be where the Lord desires you to be. Our students have attended a wide range of colleges, universities, vocational schools, and Bible colleges. Our four-year planner is modeled after the California State University and University of California requirements for admission; that way we know that if you follow the guide, you will have completed all the necessary coursework required for admission. Your grades in these classes will determine what doors will be open for you when you graduate.

Each year I conduct workshops for the students and parents to go over graduation and college admission requirements as well as financial planning. We have several colleges that visit our campus each year to meet with our students and discuss their admission requirements and life on their campus. We also host the annual Christian College Fair in October where the admission counselors from over thirty-five different colleges and universities are on campus to meet with you.

Every student is given an account to Family Connection, our online resource that has college and career search engines and is linked to every college in the United States. Ultimately, we are here to pray with you, to help you plan for your future and to be where the Lord wants you to be! “A man plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps.” – Proverbs 16:9
