Ms. Veronica Beavor
I started my faith in our Lord and Savior when I was very young. I went to Christ Lutheran School in Costa Mesa from preschool through eighth grade. However, I believe I started my true journey with the Lord when I was in confirmation from 7th and 8th grade. I wrote a Faith Statement that was based on the verse, 1 Cor. 13:13 "And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is love." From this I strive every day to show everyone around me the love that He unconditionally shows us.
I then continued my walk into high school by attended Orange Lutheran High School. I played basketball for 4 years, and threw discus and shot put as well. Finding more strength through Him, I knew I wanted to go to a college that I could grow even more with my Lord. So I committed to play basketball at Vanguard University where I played from 2008-2012. Here is where I found my calling! I was meant to be an athletic trainer so that I can be a sounding board, a safe haven, and a healer for injured athletes. Being a part of their recovery process is such a blessing because the light in their eyes and hearts when they get to play on the court or on the field again is a blessing!
I have been blessed to be a part of the Calvary family since October of 2017, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me and all the students/staff!
