Coach Vanessa Miller
I gave my heart to the LORD here at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa 15 years ago and my life has never been the same. Jesus came in and redeemed, restored and made my spirit come alive. That day became the greatest day of my life. I am so humbled to be the Head Softball Coach here at Calvary Chapel. I love that the Lord has brought me back to the place where it all began. I love to coach and I feel alive when I am out on the field with the girls. I feel that coaching and teaching is one of my greatest callings and I am so privileged to be a part of each of the young ladies lives that the Lord brings out on the dirt. Softball has always been a huge part of my life and through this sport I have had and shared some of my fondest childhood memories as well as making some of the greatest friendships.
My mom and dad were a huge support system for me through my entire softball career; from Bobby Sox, to AFA, ASA, High School ball then on to college where I became a National Champion at Fresno State. I know that the Lord has called me back into sports ministry in this season of my life and I truly believe that sports can be used as a vehicle and platform to bring the gospel into the lives of these young athletes. My mission here at Calvary Chapel as the Head Softball Coach is to build champions for Christ, on and off the field.
I am married to Bryson Miller and we have three children; Alexis, Josiah and Luke. Our daughter is entering high school this year here at Calvary and I am so grateful to have a part in her softball journey. I'm living the dream and appreciating every day that the Lord gives me. The best is yet to come.
