The Calvary Chapel High School community service requirement is as follows:
- Students must complete 8 hours per semester.
- Community service hours cannot roll over from 1st semester and count towards the 2nd semester.
- Community service is not complete until the student turns in the paperwork into the high school office on or before the day it is due.
- The final day to turn in the 2nd semester community service form into the high school office is Friday, May 22, 2015.
- Any community service completed in the summer will not count toward the 1st semester hours. Summer community service hours can however be turned in and logged for transcript purposes.
For all/any community service opportunities students complete this semester that are NOT LISTED below, must be approved by Mrs. Neumann. Denial of community service will be given for the following reasons:
1. Failure to turn in the Prior Approval Form for community service and volunteering somewhere that has not been approved.
2. Failure to turn in the community service form on or before May 22, 2015. The denial of community service credit for the semester directly affects the Bible grade.
Reminder: When you volunteer with a non-profit organization or ministry, please make sure you contact them in advance because they may require you to fill out waiver forms and/or specific volunteer times.
