Missions

"And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every living creature". Mark 16:15

We believe that all mission comes from knowing and loving Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, Redeemer and Friend and joining in the work He is doing among the nations. We visit other countries to share His love with others, to see new cultures and to gain a better perspective on God's heart for the world. Our mission trips are centered on Christ, led by qualified staff members and pastors. They involve training and preparation, and are focused on discipleship and partnering with a long-term missionary.

This year our trips are inspired by Acts 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Using this model, we are offering trips to our Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth and praying that we would be filled with His Spirit as we go.

If you are being called to the mission field we have some amazing opportunities for you!  This year we will have some weekend mission trips to San Francisco and Mexico, as well as longer international opportunities. For more information and to apply, please contact Vanessa Gilia on Mondays and Fridays, at (714) 662-7485 ext. 2454.

El Salvador Trip Information-Mr. Curt Cornelius, Team Pastoral Leader

CCHS Missions is sending a team of 33 students and leadership to El Salvador from Dec 27 to Jan 4th. The purpose of this trip is to minister the Gospel by serving the local communities in El Salvador. Our objective is to come alongside and support existing ministries in and around the capital city of San Salvador. We will accomplish this by partnering with Calvary Chapel San Salvador. Our planned ministry opportunities include community evangelism, serving at an orphanage and helping with repairs and maintenance at local community churches.
