Last weekend Calvary Chapel sent six wrestlers to the State Championship Tournament in Bakersfield. At the end of the tournament, the Churchboyz had four award winners. Freshman Luciano Arroyo finished in 7th place at 113 lbs, Morris winner finished in 6th at 182 lbs, Justin Thomas was the champion at 160 lbs and his twin brother Jeremy was the champion at 170 lbs! The Thomas twins helped make history this year when three sets of brothers won championships for the first time in state history. Congratulations to our wrestlers for an outstanding season!
